The general mission of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, including both daytime and evening education programs, is based on three fundamental pillars: education, research, and community service. The educational policy of our department aims to ensure that both daytime and evening education students, without any distinction, acquire engineering knowledge and skills with equal effort and opportunity.
In line with these principles, the primary mission of our department is to educate students as highly qualified individuals equipped with the knowledge and skills required in all major fields of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, enabling them to become productive, lifelong learners and future leaders in their professional careers, and to provide them with a strong foundation in universal engineering principles.
With regard to its research and community service missions (scientific and social), the department aims to equip its graduates with strong analytical, creative, and effective problem-solving abilities, to help them develop their talents and expectations, and to enable them to produce realistic and innovative solutions to current and future technological needs. Furthermore, the department seeks to support graduates in taking leadership roles in scientific and social domains by fostering broad scientific and social awareness.
In addition, taking into account the needs of society and the country, one of the fundamental goals of the department is to contribute to the production of science and technology, to support the technological development of the country through engineering activities carried out in cooperation with industry, to reduce external dependency, and to educate individuals capable of establishing infrastructures that can produce and export technology and knowledge.
